School of Environmental and Biological Engineering，as a school of engineering, offers four main undergraduate programs: environmental engineering, biological technology, applied chemistry, anthropogeography and urban-rural planning and others. The school has 7 faculty members with senior professional titles, 13 with associate senior professional titles and 8 with doctor’s degree. The school is well-equipped with a number of teaching facilities, such as 2 provincial key laboratories, 2 provincial key disciplines, one provincial experimental teaching demonstration center, 7 comprehensive laboratories and 21 professional practice bases and others. The labs occupy an area of about 4000 square meters with experimental instruments and apparatus worth of 15 million RMB. In the recent 5 years, more than 40 projects with financial support of over 10 million Yuan, including projects founded by NSFC, the Key Construction Projects for West Coastal Area of Taiwan Straits by Universities and Colleges of Fujian, have been taken. More than 300 papers are published.
