  主讲人简介：程新跃，重庆师范大学数学科学学院二级教授、博士生导师。主要研究方向包括黎曼-芬斯勒几何、流形上的分析、信息几何学。发表论文80余篇，出版专著1部，先后主持国家自然科学基金项目6项，获2010年度重庆市自然科学奖二等奖一项。

  讲座主要内容：The unicorn problem is one of the important problems in Finsler geometry. In this talk, we introduce the generalized unicorn problem in Finsler geometry. We prove that, for a regular (α,β)-metric in the form of F=αφ(β/α), where α is a Riemannian metric and β is a 1-form on the manifold, if φ=φ (s) is a polynomial in s, then F is a weak Landsberg metric if and only if F is a Berwald metric.
